The APF got an early Christmas present on Tuesday when boxes of pet supplies and a check for $1,000 was delivered by family and friends of the late Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School student Deacon Martucci.

The donations were collected by the Deacon Martucci Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit formed by the family of the teen. Deacon was an animal lover who died in an automobile accident in August 2018. The Foundation, meant to keep his memory alive, provides funding and aid to charitable causes that commemorate Deacon’s interests in athletics, academics and community service. Thank you to all who participated in this generous and thoughtful event.
