Kids Can Help Too!
Although we require shelter volunteers to be at least 18 years old, there are lots of other things young people can do to help the animals on their own, with classmates, or with their scout troops. In fact, the majority of our supply donations come from kids who care about the animals. Find some great ideas below.
Make Cat Mats
Project for Kids & Teens
Our kitties love having a soft, cozy mat to sleep on. And we go through LOTS of mats! Learn how to make them at home.
Are you in middle or high school and seeking community service hours for school credit? Or do you just want to help homeless animals? While you can’t work directly with the pets if you are under the age of 18, there are still many ways to help them.
