Thanks to the incredible support of our staff, volunteers, and veterinary partners, the Animal Protective Foundation's recent Cats-Only Wellness Clinic at Lisha Kill Reformed Church was another tremendous success!
Throughout the day, our team provided affordable preventive veterinary care to 67 cats, including 21 walk-up appointments. The strong turnout highlights the ongoing need for accessible veterinary services in our community, and we're grateful to be able to help families keep their beloved feline companions healthy.
This clinic was especially meaningful because, for the first time, we were fortunate to have two veterinarians serving our community. Alongside our own dedicated APF veterinarian, we were joined by a generous veterinarian from Banfield Pet Hospital who volunteered their time and expertise to help care for even more cats. Their willingness to give back allowed us to serve more families than ever before, and we are incredibly thankful for their partnership.
These clinics simply wouldn't be possible without the many people working behind the scenes. From checking in clients and assisting with patient care to keeping everything running smoothly throughout the day, our dedicated staff and volunteers make a lasting impact at every clinic. Their compassion, teamwork, and commitment to animal welfare help ensure each pet receives the care they deserve.
To everyone who attended, volunteered, donated their time, or supported this effort—thank you. Together, we're making veterinary care more accessible and helping pets live healthier, happier lives.
We look forward to seeing you at our next wellness clinic!
