Kitten Shower

Kitten Shower Saturday, April 26, 1-3 pm

The warm weather brings kitten season, when the APF takes in hundreds of cats and kittens, including many orphans, putting a tremendous strain on shelter resources. Please plan on stopping by the APF on April 26 and join us for light refreshments, activities for kids, special favors and check out the many cats and kittens up for adoption.

No RSVP necessary, just stop by with your gift!

Here's our Kitten Shower Wish List:
> KMR (Kitten Milk Replacer)*. THIS IS BY FAR OUR BIGGEST NEED! You can buy small canisters of this at pet stores, but we can buy in bulk much cheaper, so a donation especially for this would be most appreciated.
> Kitten nursing bottles and nipples
> Snuggle Safe discs or Snuggle Kitties
> Baby or kitty wipes (alcohol/scent free)
> Canned cat and kitten food

Intro to Animal Communication Class

with Animal Communication Specialist David Louis
Thursday May 1, 8, and 15
6:30-9:30 pm in the APF's Education Center, 53 Maple Ave., Scotia
Tuition: $90
Have you ever wondered what your animals are thinking or feeling, or felt that they were trying to communicate with you but you weren't able to understand? David Louis began practicing the art of animal communication in 2001, and since then he has communicated with thousands of animals, and taught hundreds of people how to do the same.

This nine hour course will include a thorough grounding in the theory, technique and process of animal communication, as well as many hours of practice, using your own animals, as well as photographs of live animals and animals in spirit. Using his vast experience, David will teach the technique that has been successful for him, and which he has developed and refined over the past 13 years.
About the Instructor
David Louis began studying animal communication at the beginning of the new century. He studied extensively with Penelope Smith, who is widely regarded as the founder of the modern animal communication movement. He served for a time as Penelope's assistant, assisting her with classes at Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, MA and Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, NY. David's courses and lectures receive consistent high marks.  He has taught and provided consultations extensively in the Northeast and Midwest United States, appeared on numerous television and radio programs, and been featured in numerous newspapers and websites. He is one of only six known male professional animal communicators. David's professional animal communication practice, Talk To Your Animals, can  be reached at www.talktoyouranimals.co. He lives with his wife, stepchildren, three dogs and four cats in Wynantskill, NY.
