The animals we care for at the APF always
need food, attention, medicine, and a clean, safe place to stay while
they wait for homes of their own. You can help make their stay here more
comfortable by donating items from our Wish List. Your donations allow funds budgeted for these items to be used in other important ways.
Every dog deserves a soft, comfortable
place to sleep while waiting to be adopted. You can help by donating a
Kuranda dog bed by clicking below.

Wish List
We no longer have a need for
donated DRY cat or dog food for the animals here at the APF.
Through Hills Science Diet’s shelter program, we receive all the kibble
we need.
However, if you
do have pet food you would like to donate to someone in need, we are
collecting pet food for the Schenectady Inner City Ministry (SICM) Food
Pantry program. You can either drop off donations for them here or at
the Food Pantry located at 839 Albany Street in
Schenectady. For more information on this program,
NEW!
