The Animal Protective Foundation is pleased to announce that Brianne Doherty has been selected as the new Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator!

Brianne moves in to her new position with years of experience at the APF, having served most recently on our animal care team. Brie has worked first hand with our animals and is exceptionally qualified to assist us in building and enhancing our volunteer and community engagement program. She has the unique ability to further develop the volunteer and community engagement program in a manner that most benefits the animals and recognizes the importance of our volunteers in accordance with our mission.

Additionally, Brie has served in administrative roles elsewhere and will bring her strong organizational skills and ability to engage others into this role. Brianne is committed to enhancing volunteer communications, training, appreciation and working with our volunteers in order to provide the best care possible to the animals here at the APF.

Brianne has earned the respect of our staff and volunteers alike and is excited about this new position. In her words, “I just know I was meant to be here and am eager to work more directly with our volunteers and community partners, current and future.”

We are proud to promote Brie into this role as of December 1st and invite the public to join us in welcoming her. You can contact Brianne at doherty@animalprotective.org or at 518-374-3944 Ext 118.
