Cocoa A#39225 Springer Spaniel Mix & Suzie A#39226 Border Collie Mix
5 years old

KISSES!

WE WERE ADOPTED!!!

This is Cocoa and Suzie. Cocoa is the brown and white one, and Suzie is the fluffy black one who faintly resembles a coffee table (she's a tad chunky).

They were abandoned by their owner at a boarding kennel. She was in the process of purchasing a new house, and after FOUR MONTHS of giving the kennel the
run-around, she finally announced that she would not be coming back for them. The owner of the kennel, facing a $5,000 bill that may never be paid, had no choice but to bring them to the shelter.

We just can't say enough good things about Cocoa and Suzie. They are mellow,
laid-back, and quiet. They love to play in the yard (they are great with other dogs), but are just as happy sleeping the day away.
They enjoy attention, but if you ask them to lie down, they will leave you alone and take a nap. They love to ride in the car and will cuddle up together on the seat.

Cocoa and Suzie have been together all their lives (a little over 5 years) and MUST remain a pair. They depend on each other and look to each other for assurance - they have been through so much over the past 4 months, with only each other to turn to.

If you are looking to start a doggie family, or add to one, these girls are the perfect match. They also appear to be fine with cats (actually they barely notice them). They are both spayed females, up to date on vaccines, and negative for heartworm & Lyme disease.

There are two staff members at the shelter who know these girls very well (both worked at Liberty) – please ask for Melissa or Jessica, and they will be glad to tell you all about them!
