Buddy is a victim of the “empty nest syndrome” – all the kids have grown up and moved out, leaving mom and dad working long hours with no one else home.  Buddy agrees that 12 hours is just too long to be left all alone, because he loves being around people.  He also appreciates the finer things in life, such as napping, so he would be fine by himself for a reasonable amount of time.  Buddy is in need of some exercise and could stand to lose a few pounds.  He’s sensitive about his weight though, so please make him feel better by pretending it’s the humans who need the extra walks!
